The VAT is a volume attenuator equipped with a 10-step attenuation plus OFF selector, it offers precise level control and excellent frequency response to the speaker lines, making it fit in the environment whether in a noisy warehouse or a quiet office. 

The VAT supports both standard two-wire and three-wire connection. The three-wire installation is capable to increase/decrease the volume of background music remotely during BGM broadcasting, and the volume will not be attenuated during EVAC message broadcasting. In addition, by installing the VA-EOL at the end of speaker lines and SL-SENSOR2/SL-SENSOR4 on the zone board of BTQ-VM/SG/SL unit, the system can quickly indicate which speaker line is open/short circuit in every branch. The VAT is applicable for 100 volt/70.7 volt application system.
